Bandai Namco Releases Sneak Peek at Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

Bandai Namco released a sneak peek at Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot that showcases new characters and adventures in the Dragon Ball universe.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is being developed by CyberConnect2.

As revealed in the sneak peek trailer, the game will feature original Dragon Ball Z stories through subquests and dialogue. It specifically highlights Goku’s interaction with Nam the Peddler.

It will also feature fights that are not limited by invisible walls as well as destructible terrain.

The game won’t be solely focused on Goku’s many battles in the Dragon Ball universe, but will also allow him to fish, eat, train, and spend time with his family.

Here’s the official description for the game:

“Relive the story of Goku in DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT! Beyond the epic battles, experience life in the DRAGON BALL Z world as you fight, fish, eat, and train with Goku. Explore the new areas and adventures as you advance through the story and form powerful bonds with other heroes from the DRAGON BALL Z universe.”

The game will also feature a brand new character designed by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, Bonyu.

Bonyu was originally the sixth member of the Ginyu Force, and will be featured in a side quest in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

The character can also be unlocked early in the Training Menu if you pre-order the game.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 17, 2020.
