Following President Donald Trump’s test of the Presidential Alert system, that was originally created under President Barack Obama, Bethesda Studios issued their very own Overseer Alert for Fallout 76.
As phones across the country buzzed with a message for Americans: “THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No Action is needed.” They were also buzzing from a Twitter notification from the Fallout Twitter account that pushed out their own test message.
Overseer Alert
THIS IS A TEST of the Vault-Tec Emergency Alert System. You may remain in Vault 76 until November 14 #Fallout76

While Bethesda Studios is obviously playing off the Presidential Alert system, it also confirmed the official release date, and teased fans with the Overseer Alert system which is expected to play a big part in Fallout 76’s gameplay.
Bethesda wasn’t going to be the only one having fun with this Tweet. Fans had a number of different reactions, most enjoying some good fun even making their own alerts, although at least one person did encourage people to exit their vaults to vote.
Good call!
