Nintendo announced Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will arrive exclusively on the Nintendo Switch during their Nintendo Direct presentation at E3. They also dropped a trailer for the upcoming game.
The trailer features a slew of who’s who in the Marvel Universe including Thanos and his Black Order. Also featured prominently are Magneto, Ghost Rider, Elektra, Hela, Mysterio, M.O.D.O.K., Miles Morales, Elsa Bloodstone, Ms. Marvel, Spider-Gwen, Scarlet Witch, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and more.
Deadpool will also be available in the game. Nintendo released a hilarious clip as Juggernaut smashes through Deadpool’s Tacos.

While the trailer highlights Magneto and features a number of the X-Men, as the trailer ends it hints that they might only be available in DLC beginning in the Fall of 2019. Along with the X-Men, they promise Marvel Knights characters as well as the Fantastic Four. Given they are prompting gamers to purchase an expansion pass, one can only assume the DLC will not be free, but will require a purchase.
Voice actor Todd Haberkorn announced he would be giving voice to Ebony Maw in the game.

The game is the third in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance series. The first was published in 2006 with the second dropping in 2009. The first game saw Doctor Doom as the primary villain. The Avengers and the rest of the heroes of the Marvel Universe have to travel across the galaxy taking on foes such as Deathbird, Galactus, Enchantress, Loki, and others in order to stop Doctor Doom.
The second game loosely adopted the Marvel Comics’ Civil War story arc and allows players to choose between Pro-Registration and Anti-Registration.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will arrive on the Nintendo Switch on July 19, 2019.
