From the ashes of their world we’ll build a better one. The age of Apocalypse has arrived. The brand new trailer gives us looks at all of our favorite X-Men from the past movies, but also introduces some new X-Men and younger versions of previously established characters.

The trailer also puts to rest the brewing controversy about the character design of Apocalypse. He looks especially ferocious and terrifying in the trailer. One key moment stands out where his body seems to become larger than the room he is occupying as his hand appears to crush Charles Xavier.

Speaking of Prof X. We finally get to see James McAvoy donning the classic look, occupying a wheel chair with a bald head and does he ever look the part.

X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters May 27, 2016.

Which X-Men are you most looking forward to seeing in X-Men: Apocalypse?
