Congressman and former Navy SEAL Dan Crenshaw showed off his Captain America-themed eye to Marvel Cinematic Universe actor Chris Evans.

Crewnshaw documented Evans’ visit on Twitter writing, “When Captain America sees your Captain America glass eye. #merica.”

Evans would respond teasing, “A VERY cool use of vibranium.”

Here’s a good look at the glass eye.

Dan Crewnshaw Captain America glass eye

Crewnshaw wouldn’t be the only politician Evans would visit. He met with South Carolina Senator Tim Scott where he allegedly revealed some Avengers: Endgame secrets. He warned the Senator, “If you repeat the secrets I told you about Endgame, Marvel will make sure we BOTH turn to dust.”

Evans would also meet with Senator Johnny Isakson. The two discussed the importance of trade relationships as well as what’s happening on the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee.

The Captain America actor would also meet with Congressman and United States Air Force veteran Ted Liu. Liu indicates he gave Evans his military unit coin.

These congressman and Senators aren’t alone in expressing their comic book fandom. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently quoted Alan Moore’s Watchmen and won quite a bit of praise from a number of comic book fans.

What do you make of Evans’ visits to these Congressman? How cool is Dan Crewnshaw’s glass eye? What Endgame spoilers do you think he spilled to Tim Scott?
