On Saturday, Electronic Arts Star Wars released their first trailer for [easyazon_link identifier=ā€B07DJX3W29ā€³ locale=ā€USā€ tag=ā€boundingintocomics-20ā€³]Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order[/easyazon_link] revealing the protagonist of the series is Cal Kestis. He happens to be white, and a number of fans werenā€™t taking it too kindly.

Hereā€™s what a number of fans were saying about Cal Kestis:

Hereā€™s the official description for the game:

ā€œStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is an action-adventure game set after Star Wars: Episode III ā€” Revenge of the Sithā„¢. Develop your Force abilities, hone your lightsaber techniques, and explore the ancient mysteries of a long-lost civilizationā€”all while staying one step ahead of the Empire and its deadly Inquisitors.ā€

The Inquisitor who is hunting Cal Kestis is actually the Second Sister, who was introduced in Charles Souleā€™s recent [easyazon_link identifier=ā€1302907441ā€³ locale=ā€USā€ tag=ā€boundingintocomics-20ā€³]Darth Vader[/easyazon_link] comic book series.

Cal will not be the only Jedi in the game. As seen in the trailer, a Jedi Knight named Cere will also be in the game and appears to help Cal as he tries to avoid the Empireā€™s Purge Troopers and the Second Sister.

The game will not feature multiplayer or microtransactions as confirmed by Respawn Entertainmentā€™s Vince Zampella, ā€œNo multiplayer, no microtransactions, itā€™s a story game.

This would be confirmed by DICEā€™s Ben Walke:
