Justice League director Zack Snyder attacked his fans and implied they are part of a hate group.

Snyder appeared on a recent livestream on Uche Nwaneri’s YouTube channel to raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

The livestream featured three Geeks + Gamers members, MyNerdyHome, Lethal Lightning, and Ryan Kinel and had raised $58,859 when Snyder joined the stream.

After he joined the stream he stated, “Just a quick thing before we get started, I know that on our donation page we still have the Geeks + Gamers logo. I just want to say that we talked about this and we are not really affiliated with Geeks + Gamers as far as I am concerned. And I really just want to make that clear.”

Snyder continued mentioning the recent Atlanta spa murders, “And I also want to just say in light of recent events I think if Justice League teaches us anything, it’s about coming together and there is no room for hate. I just think that it’s an important message and as the father of Asian children it really hits close to home for me. And I just want to put that out there that there is no room for hate and that is what it is all about.”

It’s absolutely disgusting that Snyder would come on the stream that was heavily promoted and organized by Geeks + Gamers and almost the first thing he says is to imply that they are part of a hate group, which they clearly are not.

It’s especially disgusting after they helped raise $58,859 before he even showed up on the stream. The stream, as of writing, raised $78,449.

To make matters even worse, Snyder did exactly to his fans what the media has been doing to him and his supporters for years.

Just recently, Sean Kelley McKeever tweeted out an image showing the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse trending. He wrote, “We gave in to their demands. Maybe now things will be chill.”

In response, DC Comics artist Jamal Igle referred to Snyder’s supporters as terrorists. He wrote, “This is what happens when you cave in to terrorists.”

Dark Horse Comics artist Megan Levens would echo Igle tweeting, “I saw this trending this morning and I thought the same thing. This is why we don’t negotiate with terrorists!”

Back in May 2020, multiple media outlets attacked Snyder Cut proponents.

Vulture’s Abraham Riesman described Snyder’s supporters, “These people aren’t supposed to be calling the shots. They’re déclassé outsiders, drunk on atavistic rage and viciously abusive toward their foes — such people are destined to be at the fringe, not the hub of power.”

Collider’s Drew Taylor would also attack Snyder Cut supporters describing them as bullies and even noted that Zack Snyder’s Justice League might actually be worse than the theatrical cut.

He wrote, “They bullied those who suggested that maybe the Snyder version, which would require tens of millions of dollars to finish the audio and visual effects, might actually be the worse version.”

And this wasn’t just referring to Snyder’s supporters, he’s referring to the actors and Snyder himself as he would write, “As Snyder eventually began stoking the movement, so too did several stars of the film (including Ben AffleckJason MomoaHenry Cavill and Gal Gadot).”

ScreenRant’s Thomas Bacon also declared Snyder’s fans as toxic. He wrote, “But the most toxic fans won’t see it that way. Inspired by the success of the Justice League Snyder Cut campaign, they will continue to exert their influence over other studios, networks, and streaming services.”

He would later describe Snyder Cut supporters as bullies and misogynists. He wrote, ““Rather, it is the bullies and misogynists – the people who tore the fan base apart and who gave DC fans a bad name – who will believe themselves vindicated.”

Zack Snyder exposed that he is just another Hollywood scumbag, who would not hesitate to throw his own fans under the bus. And to make it worse he actually did it on a stream where they raising money for charity.

It doesn’t get any lower than that. Absolutely no decency and no integrity. Seriously, what kind of person pulls a stunt like that? It’s truly sickening.
