Amazon Studios debuted a brand new clip for their upcoming The Wheel of Time series as well as revealing who will play Elayne Trakand.

As you can see below, the clip shows Moiraine Damodred, played by Rosamund Pike, arriving in the Two Rivers in search of the Dragon Reborn.

The clip was shared during The Wheel of Time panel at New York Comic Con, where the show’s showrunner Rafe Judkins also announced new cast members for the show’s second season.

Caera Coveney will join the show as Rand Al Thor’s love interest and the Princess of Andor Elayne Trakand. She will be a series regular.

In a surprise move Amazon did not race swap the character as they have done with the majority of the characters for the show.

As for Coveney, she is a relative newcomer. She appeared in 2019’s The Amazing World of Emma as Emma and 2020’s Dadand.
