My Hero Academia Announces Season 5’s Release With New Key Art And Preview!

My Hero Academia announced Season 5’s release timeframe with new key art and a preview.

The official Twitter account for the show made the announcement revealing the season will be broadcast on Japan’s Yomiuri TV and NTV beginning Spring 2021.

Here’s a better look at the key art that shows a number of the students of Class 1-A in their hero outfits.

As you can see the poster includes Class 1-A students Deku, Bakugo, Momo Yaoyorozu, Tsuyu Asui, Minoru Mineta, Mashirao Ojiro, and Mina Ashido.

It also includes Hitoshi Shinso, who faced down the Class 1-A students at the Sports Festival. The art also includes Class 1-B student Neito Monoma aka the Phantom Thief.

Along with the key art, they also revealed a preview for the fifth season.

Given the preview, it’s highly likely Season 5 will adapt the Joint Training Battle arc from the manga that pits Class 1-A against Class 1-B.

In the manga Shinso returns for the Joint Training Battle arc and plays for both Class 1-A and Class 1-B.

For Class 1-A he  joins the team of Asui, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Koji Koda. As part of the Class 1-B team he faces off against Deku, Uraraka, Ashido, and Mineta.
