Report: Fairy Tail Voice Actor Todd Haberkorn Kicked Off Panel at Zenkaikon by Monica Rial

Fairy Tail and Attack on Titan voice actor Todd Haberkorn was reportedly kicked off a panel at Zenkaikon this weekend at the behest of Monica Rial.

Nick Rekieta, host of Lawsplaining the Interwebs on the Rekieta Law YouTube channel, reports Monica Rial had Todd Haberkorn kicked off The Voice Actor’s Panel that took place on Saturday March 23rd from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Zenkaikon.

At around the 1:50 mark in the video below, Nick Rekieta states, “In fact, we learned over this past weekend at Zenkaikon, Monica Rial actually had Todd Haberkorn thrown off of a panel that they were both supposed to be on over concerns for her own safety.”

Rekieta would later add, “Todd Haberkorn, of course as I stated at Zenkaikon last weekend was supposed to be on a panel with Monica and was removed from that panel. I reached out to Mr. Haberkorn to get a statement on that. He did not provide me with any statement on the issue.”

Rekieta continues, “I’m only going through my other source on this. And my other source is very, very, good. Very, very, credible and very, very reliable.”

He also notes from a separate source that Todd Haberkorn and Monica Rial “were separated throughout the majority of Zenkaikon. They were sat at opposite ends of tables, they were placed in opposite areas of the convention, and there was not much interaction between them.”

Rekieta would then take to Twitter where he posted a screenshot of Zenkaicon’s website from a Google cache that showed Haberkorn would be part of the panel alongside Rial, Michaela Dietz, and Austin Tindle.

He would also post a screenshot from Zenkaikon’s live website that shows Haberkorn removed from the panel.

Much like Vic Mignogna, Haberkorn has also been accused of sexual misconduct. Haberkorn was accused by cosplayer Jessie Pridemore, who detailed an encounter with Haberkorn at a convention around 10 years ago.

Haberkorn denied the allegations in a Facebook post in January. Earlier this month, he would retain lawyer Ty Beard of Beard Harris Bullock Hughes Attorneys at Law, the same lawyer representing Vic Mignogna.

Monica Rial, the voice of Bulma in Dragon Ball Super, has previously accused Vic Mignogna of sexual misconduct. She also allegedly threatened Kamehacon in order to ensure Vic Mignogna would not be re-invited back to the convention. When Mignogna was re-invited back, she made public she would not be appearing at the convention.

I reached out to Todd Haberkorn, but did not immediately hear back.
