After IDW Lands Marvel Superheroes, Dark Horse Gets Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph!
This morning IDW and Marvel Entertainment announced an agreement where IDW would publish a new line of Marvel superheros aimed at a younger audience. Now, Dark Horse just announced they will publish a new graphic novel based on the upcoming animated film Ralph Breaks the Internet.
The official title for this new graphic novel is Disney Ralph Breaks the Internet – Click Start: Choose Your Own Adventure. The graphic novel will not only serve as a prequel to the upcoming animated film, but it will also include a bonus short sequel to the film. The graphic novel will actually be split up into two parts. It will be written by Joe Caramagna and Amy Mebberson with art by Emilio Urbano, Andrea Greppi, and Amy Mebberson.
The graphic novel will be 64 pages in total. The majority of those pages will be dedicated to the prequel story that sees Wreck-It Ralph leave behind his home in the arcade and explore the massive universe of the Internet. Readers will get to direct Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz through the internet. The sequel portion of the graphic novel will only be 8 pages in length and stars Vanellope as she explores the wonders of OhMyDisney.com.
Disney Ralph Breaks the Internet—Click Start: Choose Your Own Internet Adventuregoes on sale December 12, 2018. The animated feature film hits theaters on November 21, 2018, just in time for Thanksgiving.
