Persona 3 Manga Coming in September

UDON Entertainment will be launching a Persona 3 manga with art by Shuji Sogabe in September.

The manga will be based on the critically acclaimed video game released for the PlayStation 2 in 2006. Even today, the game is still lauded for its engaging storyline, relatable characters, challenging gameplay, memorable soundtrack, and stylish visuals. The story follows a diverse group of high school students as they come across a strange phenomenon known as the “Dark Hour.” It is a mysterious time that occurs at the stroke of midnight. The group of high school students making up the Special Extracurricular Execution Squad led by Minato Arisato must balance their hectic high school life with their investigation into the Dark Hour. They will face demons within and find the strength to call upon their inner selves, their Personas, if they are to survive the horrors of the Dark Hour.

The Persona 3 manga will appeal to veterans of the game as well as those exploring the world for the first time and are interested in smart storytelling dealing with themes of existence, identity, and the paranormal.

Persona 3 hits comic book shelves this September and is the latest in UDON’s Persona lineup joining Persona 4. Persona 3 will be 162 pages long in black and white.
