Puss In Boots Gets His Own Comic Book Series
Puss in Boots will be the star of his very own comic book series, The Adventures of Puss in Boots. The story will be written by Max Davidson, the writer of Dreamworks Animation Home and Simpsons Comics. He will be accompanied by Chris Cooper (Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, Excalibur). Egle Bartolini (Dreamworks® Animation’s Penguins) and Dave Alvarez (Looney Tunes, Animaniacs) will be on art duties.
The story begins with Puss in Boots short on money and with a huge milk tab to pay. In order to pay off his debts, he answers an advertisement that sees him take to the sea with a cranky old owl on a pea-green boat. There will be flying fur balls and derring-do abound. Puss in Boots will see you on the poop deck!
Puss In Boots #1 will be available on comic shelves April 20, 2016 with a film art cover (Previews Order Code FEB161830) and a variant cover from Dave Alvarez (Previews Order Code FEB161831).
