And here’s a look at the exclusive backer’s edition cover for the hardcover collection.
Vox touts the importance of this first Alt-Hero collection, “This is a pretty big deal because so many industry professionals claimed it could never happen. The paperbacks and hardcovers are going out to the backers, and the retail versions are now available at Amazon, at Castalia Direct, and through your local bookstore.”
The hardcover edition will retail at $23.99 while the paperback will retail at $16.99.
Along with announcing Alt-Hero Volume 1, Vox also revealed they will be releasing Alt-Hero Collections #2, which will collect Chuck Dixon’s first six issues of his Avalon series.
Vox’s Alt-Hero comics are getting a live-action adaptation with both Vox Day and Chuck Dixon working on the script for the film. The film will be directed by Hoaxed co-director Scooter Downey. (Related: Vox Day Reveals First Teaser Trailer for Rebel’s Run Based Off the Alt-Hero Comics!)
