Mark Ruffalo responded to the Russo brothers after they “fired” him following an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Ruffalo took to Twitter to ask the Russo brothers, “Guys… can we talk about this?”

Ruffalo was “fired” after he appeared on The Tonight Show and allegedly spoiled the title to the upcoming Avengers 4 film as well as significant plot details from the film.
After taping the show with Fallon, Ruffalo begged him to edit out the spoilers.
.@JimmyFallon, I trust that you will cut my spoiler slip on the show tonight. That was “off the record” homey. Please don’t get me in trouble with Marvel (Barry) again. DM me back. M

Fallon did so.
However, one Twitter user was able to uncover what Ruffalo told Fallon as far as the title of Avengers 4. The user alleges Ruffalo says, The Last Avenger.

It’s unclear if this is the true title as the whole sit down with Fallon appears to be a marketing stunt. While Ruffalo has had a past in spoiling Marvel Cinematic Universe secrets, he’s also a prankster and that was on full display at New York Comic Con as he went incognito as Grunkle Stan.
Incognito at #NYCC. Grunkle Stan had some fun today. A big thanks to the fans, @javitscenter, and Comic-Con! #gravityfalls pic.twitter.com/SMzHpH2lUJ

If this is the real title it could be a play on the first Captain America film, [easyazon_link identifier=”B078Z3MFV4″ locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Captain America: The First Avenger[/easyazon_link].
Chris Evans recently posted what many believe to be a goodbye Tweet, confirming his exit from the Marvel Cinematic Universe following wrapping up filming on Avengers 4.
There are plenty of rumors and theories indicating that Captain America will end up dying in Avengers 4. But rumors of Cap’s death have been around since Captain America: Civil War, an adaptation of a comic book storyline that saw Captain America die in the end.
While Ruffalo noted Avengers 4 could be titled The Last Avenger, others believe the title was found in the set photo the Russo brothers recently released telling Marvel fans to look hard.
Many believe the title was released in the photo. One rumor from MCU Cosmic indicates the title could be Avengers: Annihilation.
Previous rumors indicated the Avengers 4 title would be Avengers: End Game.
What do you make of Ruffalo and the Russo brothers marketing stunt? Do you think the Avengers 4 title is The Last Avenger?
