The Walt Disney Company instantly caved to woke criticism from Game of Thrones actors Peter Dinklage for their upcoming live-action Snow White film starring a race-swapped Snow White in Rachel Zegler.
Dinklage appeared on WTF with Marc Maron podcast, where he stated, “Well, you know, it’s really progressive to cast a— literally no offense to anyone, but I was a little taken aback by — they’re very proud to cast a Latina actress as Snow White. But you’re still telling the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs so.”
He continued, “Take a step back and look at what you’re doing there. It makes no sense to me. Because you’re progressive in one way but you’re still making that f*****g backward story of the seven dwarfs living in a cave. What the f*** are you doing, man?”
“Have I done nothing to advance the cause from my soapbox? I guess I’m not loud enough,” he opined.
He then concluded, “I don’t know what studio that is. But they were so proud of that. And all love and respect to the actress and to the people who thought they were doing the right thing, but I’m just like, ‘What are you doing?’”
Later in the podcast, Dinklage added, “If you tell the story of Snow White and it’s [the] most f***ed up cool, progressive spin on it? Let’s do it. All in. But I just don’t know.”
A Disney spokesman responded to Dinklage’s comments telling The Hollywood Reporter, “To avoid reinforcing stereotypes from the original animated film, we are taking a different approach with these seven characters and have been consulting with members of the dwarfism community.”
“We look forward to sharing more as the film heads into production after a lengthy development period,” the spokesman added.
On top of this The Hollywood Reporter did damage control for Disney claiming, “ The film has been in development for three years; the studio has been reimagining the dwarf characters since the earliest stages.”
It’s not surprising that Disney would instantly cave to these criticisms from Dinklage given the fact that the company attempted to force Gina Carano into struggle sessions as well as apologize for her pronoun usage.
Carano told former New York Times columnist Bari Weiss, “Earlier on last year before The Mandalorian came out, they wanted me to use their exact wording for an apology over pronoun usage.”
“I declined and offered a statement in my own words. I made clear I wanted nothing to do with mocking the transgender community, and was just drawing attention to the abuse of the mob in forcing people to put pronouns in their bio,” she added.
She provided further details to Daily Wire host Ben Shapiro, “I had a publicist at the time and they said, ‘You have to put out an apology. This is messed up. This is awful.” And I was like, ‘Okay. I did say right after that tweet, I clarified for everybody this was not directed towards the transgender community in any way.”
“And I’ve also been watching celebrities apologize left and right and it’s very ingenuine. And I said, ‘Can you just give me a moment because I’m kind of feeling emotional right now. And can I just do my own research,'” she continued.
Carano then relayed, “They were like, ‘Okay. Yeah. Do your research, but you need to get the phone tomorrow with our LGBTQ transgender section.’ And I was like, ‘I honestly — I’m feeling very emotional. Can you give me a second?’ And they said, ‘No, you need to do this now.’ And so I did.”
Carano then detailed, “I watched their documentary and I got on the phone with them and they basically were just two very gentle people and they were like, ‘We’re sorry. You stepped in what they call a land mine and we can tell you’re not here against us.'”
“They actually reported back to Disney and Lucasfilm, they thought it would be a bad idea if they canceled me, or if they let this affect anything,” she added.
Later in the interview, Carano detailed the struggle session they attempted to corral her into. She said, “They wanted me to get on the phone with like 40 of their LGBTQ community. Not on the phone, on Zoom.”
“And I felt like all your employees are slandering the hell out of me right now. You think I want to get on a video where they can film it. I felt very insecure about that. So what I offered them was — restaurants at the time had started opening back up — and I was like let me take four or five out of them to dinner and it would be a person to person — you can look me in my eyes, I can look you in your eyes and let’s have a genuine conversation,” she recalled.
“And I think it’s also a bit abusive that you want me to talk to 40 people and hear 40 people that have been slandering and maybe not all of them been slandering me, but a lot of them probably had. And it was just like I don’t feel like I really deserved this,” she asserted.
Not only did Carano expose the rot within The Walt Disney Company, but the company is openly indoctrinating their employees in it.
As part of their Reimagine Tomorrow campaign, journalist Christopher F. Rufo published documents that show Disney is actively instructing their employees to be racist.
One of the documents instructs employees to “not question or debate Black colleagues’ lived experience.” It also tells employees to “challenge colorblind ideologies and rhetoric (e.g. ‘All Lives Matter,’ or ‘I don’t see color.’) It is harmful and hurtful, as it is a form of erasing the real and specific ways racial identities affect lived experiences.”
Not only are they instructing their employees to be racist, but they also claim, “The murders of Breonna Taylor, Sean Reed, Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, Tony McDade, Nina Pop, Rayshard Brooks, Adame Traore, and countless others are part of a long history of systemic racism and transphobia.”
The documents also instruct “white and non-Black people” to “examine and work through feelings of guilt, shame and defensiveness to understand what is beneath them and what needs to be healed.”
It’s abundantly clear that The Walt Disney is a converged company that is actively promoting evil in the world.
