Tickets for the next Star Wars film, The Rise of Skywalker will be going on sale sooner than you think.
My source tells me that tickets will go on sale beginning October 21st at 8:00 PM ET as soon as the Monday Night Football game between the Patriots and the Jets kicks off.
Not only will tickets be going on sale on October 21st, but Disney will be releasing an announcement on Saturday, October 19th confirming tickets will be going on sale on Monday and directing fans to tune-in to Monday Night Football.
While my source doesn’t confirm whether or not a trailer will be dropping on Monday Night Football, it’s more than likely one will.
They did confirm that a new Star Wars trailer would be going up in previews for new films debuting on October 25th. It’s more than likely a new trailer will be dropping on October 21st.
A rumor last week also indicated that a new trailer would be dropping on October 21st during the Monday Night Football game. That rumor noted the trailer would drop during half time.

However, given my source’s information that tickets will be going on sale beginning at 8 PM ET, it’s more than likely the trailer might drop before kick off.
But I wouldn’t put it past Disney to release it at halftime in order to try and maximize their Monday Night Football viewership, which airs on ESPN, a subsidiary of Disney.
My source also gave me an estimated run time for the film. The movie is expected to have a run time of 155 minutes, meaning it’s just over 2 and a half hours long.
