Kevin Feige Hints at Avengers 4 Trailer Release – Gives Update on Namor!

Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has been quite tight lipped about Avengers 4, but he revealed some small details at a recent Black Panther event hosted by Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy.

According to reporter Erick Weber the Avengers 4 trailer will show up “before the end of the year.” He also indicated that it’s still possible for Namor to show up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Feige and his team still appear to be mulling it over. Feige also confirmed that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is “on hold.”

What’s interesting about Feige’s comments regarding the Avengers 4 trailer is he made the exact same comment just a year ago regarding the Avengers: Infinity War trailer. That trailer would not drop until November 29, 2018. It’s quite possible the Avengers 4 trailer will also drop sometime in late November or maybe in early December. If they decide to drop the trailer on the last Tuesday of November like they did last year, it could come out on November 26th.

Feige’s update on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 confirms what Drax actor Dave Bautista has previously reported that the film is on indefinite hold. However, recent reports indicated there might be movement regarding that franchise as the film’s working title had been revealed.

As for Namor, it’s possible Marvel is waiting to see what happens with Warner Bros. and DC’s Aquaman before they decide to launch their own underwater franchise. If Aquaman does well, it could be what Disney and Marvel Studios need to tip the scale in favor of green lighting a Namor film. Who knows, maybe Namor could be launched on the upcoming Disney streaming service.

What do you make of Feige’s updates on the Avengers 4 trailer? Would you like to see Namor introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
