New ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ International Poster Showcases Sword-Wielding Thor And Demonic Hela!
Marvel Studios released a brand new international poster for director Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok.
The poster gives us an up close and personal look at Cate Blanchett’s Hela as she towers above the other core casts members including Thor, Hulk, Loki, Valkyrie, Heimdall, Odin, and the Grandmaster.
Blanchett’s Hela looks absolutely demonic as she blots out the sun with her headpiece and casts an evil green glow onto the heroes.
Along with Blanchett’s Hela, the poster showcases Thor without his iconic hammer, Mjolnir. Instead of his trusty hammer he wields two blades.
What might be the most interesting part of the poster is that most of the cast’s body language is positioned away from the viewer. They are either looking to the right or left or their body is at an angle; it’s not straight forward. However, Hulk and Hela are looking right at us. Could this be hinting at a possible allegiance between Hulk and Hela or at least an allegiance through some form of manipulation or coercion? Take a look at the poster and tell us what you think:
Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters on November 3, 2017. It stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Karl Urban as Skurge the Executioner, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, and Anthony Hopkins as Odin.
