Despite the best attempts by Marvel, Sony, and Disney to keep his return under wraps, a new piece of promo art for Spider-Man: No Way Home appears to confirm the debut of the original cinematic web-slinger himself, Tobey Maguire, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming multiversal crossover.
Shared to Twitter on November 24th by user @Dominic_kravitz, the piece of promo art can be seen on an insert included in a recent edition of BarkBox, which saw Marvel team-up with the dog-toy subscription box service to send customers a special release filled with a number of Spider-Man: No Way Home-themed items for their canine companions.
The art itself features an image of Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, clad in the updated Iron Spider armor first seen in the film’s trailer, ‘torn’ (presumably by either the customer’s dog or Doctor Strange’s misfired spell) to reveal a black and white version of the same image below.
However, as noted by @Dominic_kravitz, the corner of the insert’s right-most ‘tear’ features another Spider-Man jumping behind Holland, this one wearing the beloved raised-web suit worn by Maguire and director Sam Raimi’s version of the wall-crawler.

Between this new art, Electro actor Jamie Foxx’s repeated teasing of multiple Spider-Men, a reveal from Maguire’s Spanish-language voice actor that he would be dubbing the “upcoming Spider-Man movie”, and the studios release of a trailer featuring a suspiciously edited showdown, it’s apparent that Maguire’s return to the role that helped launch modern superhero cinema is all but outright confirmed.
