The Predator Reveals The Ultimate Predator in Gory New Trailer!

The Predator

Director Shane Black and 20th Century Fox just unveiled their latest The Predator trailer which unveils the Ultimate Predator in a gory trailer where bodies are dropping left and right.

Watch:

The trailer begins teasing a mystery, what is in this space ship that has crash landed on Earth? We get plenty of action scenes with gunfire into a jungle and then we get a dead body that has been stripped down and hung up by his feet on a tree. This new Ultimate Predator isn’t messing around.

When the trailer starts delving into the mystery, Boyd Holbrook’s Quinn McKenna stonewalls his superiors. It’s a good introduction to these new characters and we get a glimpse of his personality, but also his loyalty to his fellow soldiers. There’s also a hilarious joke as we get introduced to the rest of his team who are all being transported as prisoners.

We get hints of a laboratory doing experiments on The Predators, but we also see a Predator ruthlessly killing all of the scientists in the same building. It definitely appears he’s trying to stop them from creating whatever they are creating.

But he doesn’t appear successful as the Ultimate Predator is revealed. And holy crap is he a beast. He’s massive standing probably around 8 to 10 feet tall. He easily smashes a regular Predator like a ragdoll.

From there, we get a ton of action shots mashed together that amp up the fear and urgency of McKenna and the other survivors. You can see defiance, fear, and a whole range of emotions as they come face to face with not only a Predator, but the Ultimate Predator.

If there is anything wrong with this trailer, it appears to give too much away. The reveal of the Ultimate Predator is definitely something that should have been saved for the theaters. It’s the same mistake Warner Bros. and DC Films made with Doomsday in the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer.

Along with the trailer we also got a brand new poster too!
