Tom Cruise Injured Performing Mission: Impossible 6 Stunt (VIDEO)
While attempting a stunt for his upcoming Mission: Impossible 6 movie in London, Tom Cruise mistimed his jump and heavily crashed into the side of a building.
Video shows Cruise being supported by a safety harness as he attempted to leap between two buildings. However, when he mistimed his jump he went crashing into the side of the second building at full force. He missed the jump by quite a bit. His upper torso lands directly against the building. It appears, he could have intentionally missed the jump, but failed to properly brace himself for impact.
Cruise being the champion actor that he is, attempts to continue to shoot the scene. He climbs up onto the second building and begins to move forward as if he is supposed to be chasing somebody. However, once he gets past the camera, you can see him visibly writhe in pain and grab his leg. He then calls for assistance and glides back to the original building. From there, you can see him limp out of the camera’s view in visible pain.

Tom Cruise is known for performing his own stunts. In Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol he scaled the world’s tallest building in Dubai. Then in 2015, he topped that stunt by hanging onto an Airbus 400 as the plane took off from the runway for Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation.
Mission: Impossible 6 is set to hit theaters in July of 2018. The film is being directed by Christopher McQuarrie who previously worked with Tom Cruise on Jack Reacher and Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation. McQuarrie also wrote Valkyrie which starred Cruise as well as the screenplay for The Mummy.
