The trailer isn’t public yet, but footage from Wonder Woman 1984 was screened at WarnerMedia’s presentation of HBO Max two days ago. It showed Gal Gadot, in new armor, and the returning Chris Pine as Steve Trevor.
The footage detailed by Cosmic Book News had glimpses of two scenes with Gadot and Pine in Washington D.C., one in the White House and the other near the Washington Monument.
Decked out in the new armor, Diana protects Steve from gunmen inside the White House. She grabs guns, unloads them, and yanks her and Steve’s attackers toward her with the Lasso of Truth (in a slow-motion sequence).
Then, whipping around her Lasso, she deflects a lightning bolt thrown by an unseen force CBN thinks could be Diana’s father – Zeus.
Her armor wasn’t described so it might not be all that new. It could be part of the suit she wears in the official poster image.

The other portion of the footage depicts a tender moment between Diana and Steve at the Monument. Dressed in white – as CBN describes, like a mythic Greek goddess – she walks with Steve and touches his face, saying, “I can almost see it, like a beautiful dream.”
CBN takes that to mean the scene might be a dream although they say it looks real. Perhaps, it’s a vision of the future Diana sees and it involves Steve. Or she may be remarking on his return from the dead that speculation (and spoilers) contends is caused by Maxwell Lord.
