Zachary Levi Reveals A Major DC Hero Will Cameo in Shazam! Movie
There’s a ton of stuff happening today when it comes to DC Films’ upcoming Shazam! film. First, we got a leaked set photo of Zachary Levi all suited up in his Shazam costume. And now Zachary Levi took to Instagram to reveal Batman will be making a cameo in the Shazam! film!
Levi posted a photo of a Batman action figure with the caption, “Look who makes a cameo in Shazam…”
Last November, Shazam! director David F. Sandberg hinted Batman might show up in the movie. He released an animated clip depicting Batman helping Shazam!. All of a sudden Billy Batson, Shazam’s alter ego shouts “Shazam!” Lightning comes cracking down from the sky as Billy is transformed into Shazam. Then the clip abruptly switches to live action with Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne waking up from the dream sequence in Batman v Superman.
It’s possible Batman might not be the only cameo in Shazam! Zachary Levi indicated he would love to have Wonder Woman and Gal Gadot involved with Shazam,
I think getting a cameo from anybody would be super cool, but I just think Gal Gadot is so effervescent. She has such a charm. And she seems like a really cool broad. Like, she was in the Israeli army. She’s a mom. And I’m like, ‘You seem like you’re grounded and cool, and you’re Wonder Woman, and you rock.’ And I think it would be really funny to have the 14-year-old Billy Batson inside of Shazam that’s really awkward around this beautiful Amazonian. I just think that would be really awesome.
