Social media site Instagram shut down Pornhub’s account about a month after both Visa and Mastercard suspended payments to the website’s advertising arm, TrafficJunky, following multiple allegations and lawsuits accusing the company of profiting off child pornography.
Mastercard shareholders will vote on a new proposal which aims to create a “human rights committee” aimed at curbing payments to “hate groups.”
