Gorilla Grodd Set To Return For Season 3 Of Legends Of Tomorrow!
One of The Flash’s most fearsome villains, Gorilla Grodd, will be showing up in the third season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow!
We last saw Grodd in the Arrowverse in two subsequent episodes, “Attack on Gorilla City” and “Attack on Central City.” In those two episodes Grodd baits Team Flash to Gorilla City in order to depose of his main rival, Solovar. Once Flash defeats Solovar, Grodd turns on the team and begins marshaling his forces to invade and conquer Central City. Grodd is only defeated once Flash brings Solovar back from Gorilla City to defeat him.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim made the announcement during the Television Critics Association press tour. He joked, “He works for bananas. It’s fantastic.”

Guggenheim did not reveal how Grodd would be deployed against the Legends; nevertheless he is an extremely formidable foe that they should not underestimate. His mind control powers alone could easily stop the Legends in their tracks.
Grodd joins a growing list of villains who will oppose the Legends in Season 3. They include a resurrected Damien Darhk, the Kuasa, and Rip Hunter’s Time Bureau.
I don’t know about you, but seeing Vixen channel a gorilla through her totem to battle Grodd would be pretty epic!
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow returns for Season 3 on Tuesday October, 10 at 9 pm ET/PT.
How do you want to see The CW deploy Grodd against the Legends?
