YouTuber George The Giant Slayer recently created a parody video of Prime Video’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

In the description of the video, George provides a brief explanation of the video. It reads, “A 1920’s style film starring Galadriel from Amazon Prime’s Rings Of Power as The Lord of the Karens in her quest to speak to the manager, hunting down orcs in this parody version of Middle Earth.”

The video takes various clips from The Rings of Power and depicts Galadriel’s desire to become a Karen based on the advice of her dead brother after a number of other children destroyed her paper boat.

Along with the opening scene of the Prime Video series, the video also parodies Galadriel being sent to Valinor by High King Gil-galad, her rescue by Halbrand and Elendil, the discovery of the orcs or dorks in Middle-earth, Galadriel’s arrival to Númenor, her attempts to get the Númenorians to aid her in her quest to find and defeat Sauron, the Númenorians decision to go to the Southlands and defeat the orcs, and finally the volcano erupting.

Take a look:

This isn’t the first parody of The Rings of Power that George The Giant Slayer has made. Speaking to Bounding Into Comics, George tells us, “This is a continuation. It‘s purpose is to draw attention to the ludicrous treatment of Tolkien’s mythological masterpiece he gifted to England.”

“Prime’s showruiners JD Payne and Patrick McKay spent 9 months promoting themselves to the world as The Stewards of J.R.R. Tolkien for a new generation,” he said. “From their first interview in February 2022 in Vanity Fair to Comic Con, their press junkets in Mexico, India and London they reiterated over and over that whatever questions they have, whatever issues they have-whenever in doubt for the story or characters in Rings they always return back to the books, the books the books.”

He continued, “They trumpeted their love for the Professor, as if politicians, preaching to a cult. Yet, with Rings now fully aired, we find they were only spreading the gospel of the monogrammed, soap box wokerati to Amazon and the Hollywood red carpet crowd.”

“No, person, who has ever read any of the books in the Legendarium or even watched Peter Jackson’s films, which they continually poorly ripped off, can state with a straight face Rings of Recycled Fantasy has anything to do with Tolkien. It is merely a bad fantasy series using Tolkien’s names and places. Period,” he stated.

George then declared, “So, the reason to make parodies is to show Hollywood what true passion for something looks like by using the material in a manner which both highlights their abuse and is entertaining.

“Lastly, the books will always be there. They cannot destroy Tolkien. Yet, they can, as the showruiners have said their goal is, to be Tolkien for a new generation. We fight back so that people know Rings is not that,” he concluded.

George’s first parody video was uploaded to his YouTube channel at the beginning of August that makes fun of the show’s first trailer as well as the showrunners’ appearance at San Diego Comic-Con.

He shared a second one on August 19th poking fun at Galadriel using clips from the trailers as well as comments from actress Morfydd Clark. It also includes clips from Harry Potter.

His third parody video was uploaded on August 26th and pokes fun at Prime Video’s greed in relation to The Lord of the Rings as well as its blatant pandering to woke ideology.

Aside from this most recent parody video, he shared a fourth video at the beginning of September. This one is done in the vein of a film trailer using clips from Prime Video’s Rings of Power.
