Westworld and Solo: A Star Wars Story actor Thandiwe recently responded to Sean Penn’s comments about American men becoming “wildly feminized” by describing Penn as a “jibbering FOOL.”

In a recent interview with British publication inews, Penn discussed his views stating, “There has been an absence of male behavior.”
He elaborated, “I am in the club that believes that men in American culture have become wildly feminized.”
“I don’t think that being a brute or having insensitivity or disrespect for women is anything to do with masculinity, or ever did. But I don’t think that [in order] to be fair to women, we should become them,” he further added.
In an interview with The Independent, Penn would go into a little bit more detail, but he first reiterated, “I think that men have, in my view, become quite feminized.”
“I have these very strong women in my life who do not take masculinity as a sign of oppression toward them. There are a lot of, I think, cowardly genes that lead to people surrendering their jeans and putting on a skirt,” he added.

In response to an article from Variety about Penn’s comments, Newton wrote on Twitter, “Sean Penn, Dude what are you SAY-ING?? Like for REAL? You’re a jibbering FOOL. MF you used to be sexy but now you’re just tragic.
In a subsequent tweet she added, “In front of your DAUGHTER!? That poor little mite. Thank God her Mum’s so dope.
“Please stop ruining the brilliance of #LicoricePizza with this nonsense,” she tweeted.
Clearly Newton disagrees with Penn, but she doesn’t actually offer any substance to counter his assertion. In fact, she instantly resorts to a personal attack by calling him a “jibbering FOOL” and then using MF, which is shorthand for mother f***er.
What do you make of Newton’s response to Penn? What do you make of Sean Penn’s comments?
