Watch This: Tom Hardy Quotes Bane Lines to His Dog – It’s Hysterical!
Tom Hardy’s social media accounts are nothing short of wonderful. The Venom actor will soon be donning the white and black suit for Sony and Marvel. But long, long ago in the year of 2012 Hardy played an entirely different comic book character. Many fans know Tom Hardy best as Bane from The Dark Knight Rises, despite his face never actually appearing in the film. His voice was simultaneously one of the best and worst parts of the character. His voice even needed to be altered in post-production, as it differed greatly from the voice featured in the preview fans saw months before.
But never the less, Hardy did a great job in a great film. He didn’t quite command the stage in a way that Heath Ledger’s Joker did, but he was an entirely different character. One that the actor doesn’t seem to take too seriously.
Twitter User @Andyzach posted a video of Tom Hardy revisiting his Bane character once again, in the most hilarious way possible.

That’s right. Somehow, Tom Hardy realized that the world needed a video of him impersonating his own Bane interpretation, through a sports-cup, to his dog. Hardy has one of the healthiest careers in Hollywood right now. He had a starring role in Dunkirk, the lead role in the upcoming Venom film, and the most recent reports indicate he will be voicing Venom in Sony’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. It would seem the actor keeps finding himself in comic book films, and fans and audiences around the world couldn’t be happier.
For an actor who had talked about retiring from the world of acting years ago, it’s wonderful to see Tom Hardy so enthusiastic about his work. Sometimes in the funniest ways, to the delight of everyone who’s a fan of his or a fan of Bane.
