Dragon Ball FighterZ Announces Previous World Tournament Champion As Next DLC Fighter!
Bandai Namco has announced that Master Roshi, the Turtle Hermit himself, will join the roster of Dragon Ball FighterZ as the title’s next DLC fighter.
Master Roshi will be the third character made available as part of FighterZ Pass 3, after Kefla and Ultra Instinct Goku.
Master to both Krillin and Goku, Master Roshi recently proved he still has what it takes to stand amongst the Dragon Ball multiverses’ greatest fighters after competing in the Tournament of Power, even displaying a rough mastery of the Ultra Instinct technique due to his years of martial arts training.

In the Dragon Ball Super manga, Master Roshi recently fought on the frontlines of Earth’s defense against Moro’s invading forces, where the Father of the Kamehameha blindfolded himself in order to take down three attractive female fighters before ultimately falling to their fused form.
Master Roshi’s announcement trailer also reveals that the veteran martial artist will have a Mafuba-based dramatic finish against Piccolo, in an homage to the technique’s use in Dragon Ball against his father, King Piccolo.

Previously, Master Roshi had only been available as a playable character in two Dragon Ball video games, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and the Dragon Ball Evolution move tie-in video game.
It is unknown at this time if the mysterious Jackie Chun will also make an appearance, but players will be able to discover for themselves when Master Roshi releases in September.
