Rocksteady Teases Suicide Squad Game Where The Target Appears To Be Superman
Rocksteady, the video game developer behind the Batman: Arkham trilogy series, recently teased a game that will see the Suicide Squad appearing to hunt down Superman.
Rocksteady posted to Twitter indicating that the game will put players in the role of the Suicide Squad.
They wrote, “Target locked – #DCFanDome – August 22 #suicidesquadgame.”
As you can see below, the image features Superman looking away from the camera with his laser eyes appearing to power up. A crosshair that reads Suicide Squad is placed over top the Man of Steel’s head.
Rocksteady would follow that tweet up encouraging their followers to “Join the Squad.” They then shared multiple links to their social media platforms for the upcoming Suicide Squad game on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Discord.
No other details have been revealed about the game, but it is more than likely we will learn quite a bit more about it when DCFanDome arrives on August 22nd.
While it appears to be Superman, a number of people are speculating that it could be Bizarro.

Previous rumors had indicated that Rocksteady was working on a Superman game. One of the most recent indicated that Warner Bros. had actually turned down Rocksteady’s pitch for a Superman game.
Geeks WorldWide reporter James Sigfield had reported, “Hearing from multiple sources that Rocksteady pitched a Superman game to WB as a follow up to Arkham Knight, and WB passed on the project.”
He added, “Judging how similar this feels to the âNew Gothamâ section of Arkham Knight, this could be for that.”
In a subsequent tweet Sigfield stated, “The various Easter eggs in Arkham Knight referencing Superman and Metropolis were meant to be hints towards the story and characters.”
Later, he added that “the destruction tech used in Arkham Knight was also something that would’ve transitioned to their Superman game.”

It’s unclear if the destruction tech will be included or if the game will be a continuation of the Arkham trilogy.
Rocksteady developed Batman: Arkham Knight, Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Urban Chaos: Riot Response, and the Batman Arkham VR game.
What are you expecting from this Suicide Squad game? Which Suicide Squad members do you think will be involved in order to take down The Big Blue Boy Scout?
