Cosplay of the Day: Milena Vigo’s Jill Valentine from Resident Evil
With the upcoming release of the remake of the zombie shooter Resident Evil 3, today’s Cosplay of the Day will focus on one of the franchise’s most beloved and popular characters, Jill Valentine.
Introduced as one of the two playable characters in the original Resident Evil game back in 1996, Jill was one of the first female protagonists in video games.
Her character was a former member of Delta Force. Valentine excelled in bomb disposal during her initial training with the special forces outfit. She would later go on to join another elite force, but this time on the law enforcement side as she became a member of Special Tactics and Rescue Services or STARS for short.
Today, that elite soldier is brought to life by cosplayer Milena Vigo who has been cosplaying the character for ten years now. You can check out a collage of her work below:
Milena has cosplayed the character for years and in doing so has done versions of the character from both the video games and movie franchises.
With the news of the remake of the third Resident Evil game, the cosplayer posted some photoshoots she did of multiple iterations of the character.
This next one is inspired by the surprise reveal of a living Jill Valentine at the end of Resident Evil: Afterlife. She would become the main villain of the following film, Resident Evil: Retribution.
Finally, we take a look at the classic look that brought Jill Valentine to life in the first Resident Evil game back on PlayStation.
Resident Evil 3 will come to PlayStation 4 March 2020. You can catch the announcement trailer below as players will return to relive the events of Raccoon City.
