A new rumor indicates that Paramount plans to begin development on a Transformers/G.I. Joe crossover film.
According to of Geekosity Mag’s Mikey Sutton, “inside sources” have informed the Editor-in-Chief that “plans are again moving forward for Hasbro to expand its theatrical toy box after Snake Eyes”
While Sutton states that there have been “discussions for a live-action version, not necessarily a direct adaptation of the comic book” that ultimately “haven’t led to the movie being greenlit”, he also notes “that will change real soon”.
However, Sutton also clarifies that the chance of the film actually being produced “all depends on how successful Snake Eyes is”.
It is currently unknown how where this film would fall in the ‘G.I. Joe film universe’ rumored to be in development by Seberg writers Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse.
