The wrestling and entertainment worlds are abuzz recently with speculation that WWE superstar Bray Wyatt may have interest in Batman.

The Fiend
Wyatt, whose given name is Windham Rotunda, currently portrays a monstrous character dubbed “The Fiend” on WWE programming.
“The Fiend” has a slight similarity to Two Face from the Batman comics. Wyatt’s persona when he’s not The Fiend is that of a disturbed children’s show host, ala Fred Rogers.

Wyatt’s work as a character actor garners high praise within the WWE. Previously, he played the role of a psychotic, backwoods cult leader. And, for a number of years, he was the head of the faction known as the Wyatt family.
WWE Stars Turn Hollywood
If Wyatt is indeed considered for a villain role in The Batman, it would come as no surprise. Many of Hollywood’s biggest stars have started in the squared circle.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is arguably the biggest action star in the world. Dave Bautista has also become a household name after his work as Drax in the MCU. John Cena is currently transitioning into a full-time movie and television career.
Hulk Hogan even had a memorable run with his own movie, cartoon, and television series. Mike “The Miz” Miznanin, Becky Lynch, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Adam “Edge” Copeland, and Charlotte Flair have all had notable movie or television roles.
Casting on The Batman has yet to be finalized. With rumors abound such as Rihanna being considered for Poison Ivy and Zoe Kravitz confirmed to play Catwoman, it’s going to get interesting.
With Bray Wyatt’s ability to bring a character to life, there’s no doubt Hollywood will come knocking soon. Is his time now? We’ll keep a keen eye on him as more casting news breaks.
