Oliver Queen is gone and Arrow is wrapping up this week with word of one Emerald Knight giving way to another (spoiler ahead).
Cosmic Book News reported a spoiler for the Arrow finale claiming John Diggle receives a ring to become a Green Lantern.
Matt McGloin of CBN writes the ring comes in a green box from space and is shown with green light emanating around it.

McGloin adds there is no ring shown or Lantern uniform or oath said and John doesn’t declaratively hear he can overcome fear.
Diggle actually being John Stewart has been teased for a good while now. In Elseworlds, John Wesley Shipp’s Flash of Earth-90 remarked John wasn’t wearing his ring.
And “Spartan,” a Season 7 episode revealed Diggle has a stepfather named General Roy Stewart, indicating John’s legal name may actually be John Stewart.

Answers are promised. Diggle actor David Ramsey teased to TV Line all will be revealed “without a doubt” and it will make “everyone” happy:
“Without a doubt. You are absolutely going to get your answers. And well-deserved answers. We’ve been talking about this for years, and I think everyone by series’ end will be very happy.”
A rumor last summer we reported said a Green Lantern TV series starring Ramsey playing John Diggle as a Lantern was pitched to The CW. John Diggle offered a green box with green contents – or light at the least – could lead to that.

It may even be a backdoor tie-in relating to the HBO Max Green Lantern series produced by Arrow showrunner Greg Berlanti. Crisis on Infinite Earths acknowledged the Earth that show will take place on among other streaming DC programs.
HBO Max’s Green Lantern – thought to be a separate thing – is believed to draw from the Corps lineage and introduce members aside from Hal Jordan. Kyle Rayner is rumored to be one.
Berlanti already has one spinoff of Arrow to think about. Last week was the backdoor pilot for Green Arrow and the Canaries which is in development as a series.
