Friends Star Jennifer Aniston Condemns Texas Heartbeat Act: “No Uterus, No Opinion”

Jennifer Aniston, widely known for playing the role of Rachel Greene in the popular 90s sitcom Friends, recently threw her full support behind those who are up in arms over the recently enacted Texas Heartbeat Act.

“I repeat.. no uterus, no opinion,” Aniston wrote in a recent Instagram story, referencing a line said by her character on Friends and sharing an animated GIF of the respective scene from which the line originated.

In a follow-up Instagram story, the woke actress additionally shared an image of a woman holding a sign that read, “Texas won’t make a 12-year-old wear a mask to school, but they will force her to have a baby,” and simply captioned the photo, “Keep fighting.”

“Texas: where a virus has reproductive rights, and a woman doesn’t,” read yet another image shared by Aniston to her over 38 million followers on Instagram, evidently condemning Texas’ new pro-life law.

Having gone into effect on the 1st of September, The Texas Heartbeat Act (SB 8) states that “a physician may not knowingly perform or induce an abortion on a pregnant woman if the physician detected a fetal heartbeat on a pregnant woman if the physician detected a fetal heartbeat for the unborn child.”

The recently enacted law also enables citizens to “bring a civil action against any person who performs or induces an abortion, knowingly engages in conduct that aids or abets the performance or inducement of an abortion, including paying for or reimbursing the costs of an abortion through insurance.”

Aniston’s stance regarding abortion rights shouldn’t really come as a surprise, as this is not the first time she’s openly supported the killing of unborn babies.

In 2019, the actress was vocally supportive of Netflix’s attempt to boycott Georgia by pulling production of Murder Mystery, a film Aniston starred in, out of the state following Gov. Brian Kemp’s signing of the “Living Infants Fairness and Equality (LIFE) Act.”

Much like the Texas Heartbeat Act, Georgia’s Living Infants Fairness and Equality Act aims to ban abortions after a heartbeat has been detected, which can happen as soon as 6 weeks into a pregnancy.

“I think it’s fantastic,” Aniston told Variety at the premiere of Murder Mystery. “Good for them. They have the voices, they have the power, and that’s the way you have change happen.”

Aniston is not the only Hollywood celebrity to voice their insufferably woke opinion on the Texas Heartbeat Act.

Taking the stage at the Women’s March for Reproduction Rights event this past weekend, Alyssa Milano took stated that she couldn’t believe “how f—ed up America is right now,” before further claiming that”a handful of men are successfully taking 50 years of rights away from women.”

Similarly, Kill Bill actress Uma Thurman condemned Texas’ new pro-life legislation by revealing that she had an abortion in her late teens and claiming that this event allowed her to “grow up and become the mother I wanted and needed to be.”

“The abortion I had as a teenager was the hardest decision of my life,” admitted Thurman.

In stark contrast to these anecdotes, a celebratory message recently published by the Texas Right to Life organisation has claimed that over 3,000 lives have already been saved since the Texas Heartbeat Act was passed in September.

“Since taking effect September 1, the Texas Heartbeat Act saved at least 100 lives PER DAY!” wrote the pro-life organisation last Thursday.
