Picking up immediately after Vegeta’s transformation into his new form, Dragon Ball Super Chapter 75, “God of Destruction Power,” opens with the Saiyan Prince unleashing his newfound strength upon Granolah, the Cerealian fighter out for revenge against the Saiyan people.

As the battle between the two warriors ensues, Granolah finds himself taken off-guard by Vegeta’s sudden boost in strength, and after Vegeta reveals that his universe’s God of Destruction, Beerus, taught him “about this power,” the Cerealian questions, “So this God granted you this power?”

“Did I say that?” replies Vegeta. “No. This power is my own.”

Frustrated with Vegeta’s power and his own lack of control over his newly acquired strength, granted to him courtesy of his wish upon the Eternal Dragon of Cereal, Toronbo, to be the strongest warrior in the universe, Granolah proceeds to launch a counter-attack against his Saiyan opponent.

However, much to Granolah’s surprise, Vegeta takes every one of his attacks head-on, eventually forcing his way close enough to the Cerealian to deliver a devastating blow, which is curtailed at the last-second thanks to the fledgling warrior’s use of a personal shield device.

Finding himself entirely overwhelmed in the face of Vegeta’s new power, Granola questions, “Why don’t you dodge? So this isn’t like your ally’s power that makes his body avoid danger?”

“You speak of Kakarot’s Ultra Instinct?” Vegeta fires back. “Don’t you dare compare his pathetic technique to my own.”

Powering up even further, Vegeta boasts once more to the frightened Cerealian, declaring, “Kakarot’s body may have a mind of its own, but I’m all ego. In fact, go ahead and call this Ultra Ego.”

Unfortunately for Vegeta, his advantage over Granolah is short-lived, as the young warrior soon finds himself growing into his own power, and by the end of the chapter, has pushed the Saiyan warrior’s Ultra Ego form to its limits.

The next chapter of Dragon Ball Super is set to drop on September 20th. You can read the current chapter for free on Viz Media’s Shonen Jump section of their website.
