The campaign to #RestoretheSnyderverse will be no easy task if it is to bear fruit. A fervent and driven fandom got Zack Snyder’s Justice League released four years after the film’s original theatrical premiere, and now they want all of that film’s continuity back in play.
However, taking a step back, it’s clear they need someone in their corner to do the heavy lifting.

As it turns out, Black Adam and beefy action star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson might be the guy to answer that call.
A new scoop by Small Screen asserts that The Rock watched all four hours of the Snyder Cut, liked it, and wants to hold on to the stuff that’s in it. According to a source who spoke to Small Screen, “Dwayne Johnson texted his team and said: We need Henry in our movie. We need the SnyderVerse,” after viewing Snyder’s Justice League.

He also has big goals involving the whole Justice League cast, as Small Screens says he is a big fan of each actor and wants to work with them all, possibly in a scenario with Adam facing off against the entire League.
He’s also keen on some kind of interaction with Jeremy Irons’ Alfred, whose performance Johnson really enjoyed, said one source.
There are several reports of warring factions at WarnerMedia for and against the Snyderverse. With Johnson on the side of restoring it, The People’s Champion could have a chance to use his celebrity to sway WB.
Geekosity EIC Mikey Sutton submitted his intel as well. His sources tell him Johnson “wasn’t pleased with the news of the Snyderverse’s demise,” which came directly from Warner CEO Ann Sarnoff.

Johnson, having creative control over his franchise, was looking forward to possible crossovers. Given those factors, it’s said he might “override the executives” by going over their heads and straight to AT&T.
According to Sutton, the communications conglomerate and parent company of Warner would side with the megastar over the studio, especially if he can deliver a billion-dollar gross with Black Adam.
The further basis for this conclusion can be found in what Sutton reported months ago; that AT&T brass were the big believers in the Snyder Cut and used their influence to get it finished.
Remember, their primary concern was – and still is – getting HBO Max up and running with desirable content. Zack Snyder’s Justice League and the huge numbers it’s drawing in views and new sign-ups for the service are giving them exactly what they hoped for.
So if The Rock says he wants Henry Cavill’s Superman and Snyder’s Justice League in his movies, chances are they’ll smell what he’s cooking.
