By every available metric, Santa Inc. seems destined to go down in history as the Hindenburg of far-Left pseudo-comedy. The new HBO Max series has been thoroughly excoriated on Rotten Tomatoes, with just 3% of viewers finding it favorable.
To date, not a single professional critic has touched it with a ten foot pole, which means Santa Inc. is more radioactive than the Elephant’s Foot in the basement of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Actors Seth Rogen and Sarah Silverman have responded exactly as expected, almost on cue, and that’s entirely the point.
Audiences knew that Santa Inc. was going to be a disaster from the moment the first trailer dropped on YouTube, netting an eye-watering, and unfathomable 100K+ dislikes in record time.
Coincidentally, this was before the higher ups at the company managed to hide the Dislike counter to protect the image of Joe Biden’s official White House page, and a number of woke Leftist properties. Next, they hid the comments for the trailer, which has activated the Streisand Effect.
For the uninitiated, Santa Inc. is essentially the story of a female elf who wants to become the next Santa Claus, and the show routinely laments the fact that Santa himself is a white male.
Historically, Santa Claus being white makes sense, as the Santa Claus character draws heavily from a mixture of 4th-century Christianity and Norse paganism. However, the Left see Santa Claus as little more than just another white male patriarch who must be supplanted, and replaced.
The meltdown began on Seth Rogen’s official Twitter page, where he attacked the show’s haters and labeled them “white supremacists,” the standard tactic the Left use whenever someone disagrees with them. We argue that this is not, in fact, a knee-jerk reaction, but the intended purpose for the show.
Think about it – two very far-Left comedians decide to pen a show that attacks white males, and Christmas, at the same time.
Only a few episodes in, it is abundantly clear that the team behind Santa Inc. is not particularly fond of Christmas, and it shows.
There’s a tremendous lack of holiday spirit normally seen in other Christmas-themed comedies of yesteryear, such as National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, or even Bad Santa.
Heck, even Ben Affleck’s critically panned 2000 action flick Reindeer Games has more love for Christmas than this series.
The inevitable blowback to Santa Inc. feels like it was anticipated by Seth Rogen and his ilk, from the word “Go.”
The meltdown felt pre-scripted, almost as if Rogen knew it was going to come.
In fact, the unwillingness of critics to score a single episode as per the date of this article is probably the only thing Rogen really didn’t see coming. So, the question is, why make a show like this in the first place?
It’s simple – the Left are trying to convince themselves that the social justice issues they whine about on a daily basis actually exist. Their determination to find white supremacy, wherever it may lurk, is akin to Indiana Jones staring down thousands-year old death traps in ancient ruins to acquire coveted golden idols.
No feat is too perilous, and no stone is left unturned, yet when the search turns up dry, these same deranged activists cannot cope with the empty-handedness.
Demand for racism in this country far exceeds available supply by an astronomical margin, and if you can’t validate your theory that a white supremacist terrorist lurks on every street corner with a noose in their hand, your best bet is to invent them out of whole cloth.
Consider the case of disgraced actor Jussie Smollett, the Empire star who claimed he was accosted, beaten up, and threatened by two white men wearing MAGA hats, on his way to pick up a Subway sandwich in the dead of night, during a polar vortex…
…in Chicago.
The same Chicago where the dead roll out of their graves every 4 years to vote Democrat, before climbing back into their coffins. Apologies…we digress.
Every single Leftist journalist and news outlet immediately ran with the story as fact, and even current U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris bought the narrative, only to walk it back in one of the most cringeworthy moments of her failed political career.
When it was alleged that Smollett faked the entire thing by hiring two Nigerian men to pose as the supposed Trump supporting “white supremacists,” those same news outlets and politicians were forced to navel-gaze in utter embarrassment.

The same thing took place during the debacle involving the Covington Catholic School teenagers, which led to Nick Sandmann suing multiple news outlets, and settling out of court for a supposedly hefty sum of cash.
The Left are high on their own supply, and racism is the inevitable end result. The demonization of whites is par for the course among the liberal elite in America these days, but it’s losing traction as each minute passes.
Americans are waking up to the fact that the radical Left have pushed a narrative that no longer has any basis in reality.
They see the hypocrisy of labeling Kyle Rittenhouse a white supremacist, based on no evidence at all, while frantically trying to bury the story of black supremacist Darrell Brooks, Jr., who plowed through a crowd of people with an SUV at a Waukesha Christmas parade, killing 6 (including a young child), and seriously wounding upwards of 60+.
The perp’s social media feed even exposed him as an avid proponent and admirer of Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich, not to mention a notoriously anti-white and anti-Jewish racist.
It all boils down to a lack of humility on the part of the Left. Rather than admit their error(s) and work towards a better tomorrow for all people, regardless of their immutable characteristics, they instead double, triple, quadruple, and in some cases quintuple down on the false narrative.
It’s a testament to unbridled, seething hatred and antagonism, sprung from the loins of extreme radicalism, and a desire to divide people down racial and ethnic lines.
There is unconfirmed speculation that Karl Marx once said “Accuse your enemy of what you are doing, as you are doing it, to create confusion.”
Regardless of the quote’s true origins, this is a tactic that has been adopted brick-for-brick by the far-Left, and the reason why Seth Rogen’s supposed meltdown over Santa Inc. makes so much sense. It’s a feature of his ideology, rather than a bug.
If you can throw shade at your angry audience, you can then make the case that there are even more white supremacists out there than you first thought, creating a personal feedback loop.
Dehumanizing groups of people is a tactic often used to justify terrible actions. This was as true for Jews living in Nazi Germany, or African Americans suffering under the yolk of slavery and Democrat-created Jim Crow laws, as it is for millions of unborn babies murdered in the womb.
When you subtract the humanity of a people from the equation, all options suddenly become available. You can staple false labels to their foreheads, bully them mercilessly, find excuses to ostracize them from society, or simply end their lives without the trappings of guilt and remorse.
Fortunately, this narrative is withering on the vine, and Seth Rogen simply isn’t bright enough to leverage what little power it has left.
As we move into 2022, it’s becoming clear that Americans on both sides of politics are thoroughly sick and tired of wokeness, and all the inherent hatred, division, and yes – racism – that comes along with it.
Hollywood had best take heed of this fact, and stop alienating the overwhelming majority of the population, simply to appease the estimated 6% of the American populace who buy into this garbage.
