The Flash may see an on-screen reunion of Justice League members, as a new rumor claims that Gal Gadot is set to return to her role as Wonder Woman for the upcoming DC film.

We Got This Covered is reporting that Gadot is currently in negotiations to return for her fifth overall appearance as Wonder Woman in the DCEU.

This report comes from the same source of “intel” that correctly informed We Got This Covered that Ben Affleck would be returning as Batman for a cameo appearance in The Flash a month before the announcement was made public.

Despite the previous success of We Got This Covered’s source, this news should still be regarded as rumor, as Gadot’s alleged talks currently remain unconfirmed by official sources.

While Diana played a central role in the original Flashpoint comic book series, it’s unlikely that her appearance in The Flash would involve the war between Amazons and the Atlanteans seen in the original story, as a previous rumor has indicated that the film is “only loosely based on the Flashpoint storyline” and would omit the war between the two kingdoms.

However, much like the comics, the film is set to feature numerous members of the Justice League.

Miller’s Justice League co-star Ray Fisher has also confirmed that discussions have been had surrounding his reprisal of the role of Cyborg, though his current airing of grievances against Warner Bros may jeopardize his chances of returning.
