According to a recent press release from the Vermont State Police, Miller has been charged with felony burglary over an incident which took place earlier this year on May 1st.

“At approximately 5:55 p.m., the Vermont State Police was notified of a burglary complaint at a residence [belonging to victim Isaac B. Winokur] on County Road in the town of Stamford, Vermont,” wrote the VSP.

“The initial findings indicated that several bottles of alcohol were taken from within the residence while the homeowners were not present,” they added. “As a result of an investigation that included surveillance videos and statements, probable cause was found to charge Ezra M. Miller with the offense of felony burglary into an unoccupied dwelling.”

Ultimately, said authorities, Miller “was located on August 7th at approximately 11:23 PM and issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division on Sept. 26 at 8:15 AM for arraignment on the burglary charge.”

When pressed for confirmation by WTEN/WXXA Distribution Producer Johan Sheridan on whether or not the individual charged was “the actor Ezra Miller”, VSP Public Information Officer Adam Silverman affirmed, “I can.”

Miller has been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons over the past few months thanks to his being involved in a nationwide slew of arrests.

The saga of the real world Reverse-Flash began in 2020 when Miller was caught on video choking and wrestling a woman to the ground outside of an Iceland pub – an incident for which he would be escorted off of the establishment’s premises over, but ultimately go uncharged for.

Things really kicked off on March 19th when the actor was issued a traffic violation after police discovered him publicly intoxicated and blocking a sidewalk.

Then, on March 27th, the actor “was arrested and charged for disorderly conduct and harassment after an incident at a bar in Hilo,” after “South Hilo patrol officers responded to a report of disorderly patron at a bar on Silva Street” and “determined that the man, later identified as Ezra Miller, became agitated while patrons at the bar began singing karaoke.”

“Miller began yelling obscenities and at one point grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman singing karaoke (disorderly conduct offense) and later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts (harassment offense),” the HPD wrote in a statement published to Facebook on March 28th.

“The bar owner asked Miller to calm down several times to no avail,” they continued. “Miller was arrested and charged with both offenses and the total bail was set at $500. He provided the bail and was released.”

Later that same evening, just hours after making bail for the above arrest, the actor would  be escorted from a Hilo hotel property after allegedly bursting into a couple’s bedroom, threatening them, and stealing various items such as wallets and passports.

“On 3/28/22 [Miller] burst into the bedroom of the Petitioners and threatened [redacted] saying ‘I will burry you and your slut wife [redacted],” reads a restraining order petition filed by the couple against Miller. “[Miller] stole the passport…and wallet which included ss card, driver license, bank cards, among other things of [redacted].”

Despite Miller’s alleged actions, the couple has since dropped their petition against the actor, though neither they nor their attorney have commented as to why.

On April 19th, the Hawaii Police Department announced that Miller had been arrested yet again, this time in response “to a report of an assault that occurred at a get together at a private residence in the Leilani Estates subdivision in lower Puna.”

“During the course of their investigation,” wrote the HPD in an official media release, “police determined that the individual, later identified as Ezra Miller, became irate after being asked to leave and reportedly threw a chair, striking a 26-year-old female on the forehead, resulting in an approximate half-inch cut.”

Miller has also been the subject of several abuse allegations from numerous women.

The first to come to widespread public attention was made by a young TikToker by the name of Mia Solange, who accused the actor of intimate partner violence.

“Ezra m***er is not a good human,” wrote Solange in May. “And I can finally say so without being terrified. #abuser”.

Solange’s accusation was soon followed by North Dakota Standing Rock Sioux Reservation resident Chase Iron Eyes and his wife Sara Jumping Eagle’s filing for a protective order against Miller with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Court on June 7th.

Requested out of concern for the safety and well-being of their daughter, Tokata, the couple explained to the court that they believed that Miller was employing “cult-like and psychologically manipulative, controlling behavior,” towards Tokata and used “violence, intimidation, threat of violence, fear, paranoia, delusions and drugs to hold sway over a young adolescent Tokata.”

However, Tokata would later deny that her actions were being made on the behalf of anyone but herself.

On June 16th, another parent would request a protective order against Miller for their child, this time alleging that at one point during their interactions, Miller turned his focus to their then-11-year-old and told them, “I’ve talked extensively with your child, and they have a lot of power to them.”

“At one point, you’re going to realize that you don’t have any control over them anymore,” the actor said. “They’re an elevated being, and they would be lucky to have someone like me guide them.”

The literal next week, witnesses came forward to claim that Miller was housing a woman and her three children in a “a chaotic environment that is unsafe for children” on his Vermont farm.

According to said sources, the property reportedly sees “frequent and heavy” marijuana use and features “at least eight assault weapons rifles, and handguns lying around the living room, with some weapons propped up next to a pile of stuffed animals.”

At the time of these witness reports, the mother in question denied that she and her children were in any danger from Miller, but their father claimed that he had been unable to contact them since April.

Though he eventually went to the Vermont Department for Children and Families for help in the matter, following a May 16th wellness check, he was ultimately informed by a Vermont social worker that everything was fine and the children “looked good” – though they conceded that there was “more work to do”.

According to the outlet, “several people” close to Miller fear that the 29-year-old Fantastic Beasts actor has become detached from reality, with a longtime family friend admitting, “I think Ezra has been enabled because of their fame, their wealth, their earning potential, their whiteness, and their beauty,”

“It’s really hard to intervene when someone has as many resources as Ezra,” they added. “When you’re famous, people are less likely to say ‘no’ to you. I think that those things can be really dangerous.”
