Per Israeli-based i24NEWS’ report, the initiative was launched by director Guy Nattiv, who explained, “Gal Gadot and her husband, Yaron Varsano, helped make this possible.”

Nattiv further declared, “As a filmmaker, I swore that these images of October 7 would not be forgotten, and the world would see them. Because now the denial begins – it is a fake, it is not a fake (…) We cannot pass by in silence.”

Regarding the yet-to-be-revealed list of guests for this particular release — which, according to The Wrap, is expected to be screened in Los Angeles and New York at some point this week — Nattiv mentions that it will consist mostly of fellow industry colleagues.

“People who have film experience,” the director revealed, explaining, “so we can show them this crazy document that is reminiscent of the films created about the Holocaust.”

According to TheWrap, this film is about 47 minutes in length, and it has already been seen by a select group of international journalists, noting that, out of respect for the victims, Israeli leaders did not originally intend to make the footage public — especially given the violent nature of the footage captured by the IDF.

The outlet notes that further details regarding this project, such as release date and guest list, have yet to be officialised.

Following the surprise Hamas invasion, the Israel-native actress took to social media to encourage her followers to support Israel and condemn the acts conducted by the Palestinian terror group.

“At least 250 Israeli have been murdered and dozens of women, children, and elders held as hostages in Gaza, by Palestinian military group Hamas,” Gadot wrote at the time.

She went on, “Starting early morning more than 3,000 rockets were fire,” adding, “Hamas is holding hostages, controlling bases and settlements in Israel. There have been more than 1,500 injured and heavy fighting is still ongoing.”

“‘I hear their voices and they are banging on the door. I am with my two little children,’” the Wonder Woman actress wrote, making allusion to the many phone call messages from frightened civilians hiding in their homes.

“My heart is aching,” Gadot declared. “Praying for all of those in pain.”

In an Instagram Story shared by the actress a few days later, Gadot brought attention to propaganda seeking to “dehumanize” both sides of the armed conflict, further condemning the attacks led by Hamas.

“If you have less empathy towards victims because of how you feel about their government, propaganda is working on you,” she declared, adding, “The goal of propaganda is to dehumanize. It works to dehumanize Israelis and it works to dehumanize Gazans.”

“I like to think most of us are above propaganda,” Gadot went on. “But this weekend reminded me how widespread it is. Because a lot of people reacted to this violence with justification, not empathy.”

She then lamented, “I guess it’s not surprising, but it’s still heartbreaking. Propaganda is everywhere. It seeps into us over time. It seeks to block our empathy receptors. So when we see violence, we rationalize away our human response.”

In yet another post shared to her Instagram account, Gadot encouraged followers to support Israel, sparking the ire of pro-Palestine individuals who called her out for ignoring Israel’s own armed response against the attacks conducted by Hamas. The actress has since disabled the post’s comment section.

“I stand with Israel you should too,” Gadot encouraged. “The world cannot sit on the fence when these horrific acts of terror are happening!”
