Avalon #1 is a great first issue that introduces us to a fascinating group of super-powered individuals who are struggling with their own strengths and weaknesses.
The second issue of Quantum Mortis picks up where the first issue leaves off and finds our heroes continuing their investigation of the murder of Arpad Vladislaus Jagaelleon (that’s his real name).
There’s an awful lot to like in the first issue of Quantum Mortis: A Man Disrupted, but there’s also some elements that give me pause. I appreciate the attention given to characters and motives, but if subsequent issues spend as much time on conversation without adding some action, it may be a tough road ahead.
