The first variant cover for Dark Knight III is a take on the iconic [easyazon_link identifier=”1563893428″ locale=”US” tag=”bounintocomi-20″]Dark Knight Returns[/easyazon_link] battle between Batman and Joker. The cover art is done by Dave Johnson based on a sketch by Jim Lee. The cover is unique in that DC is offering retailers the opportunity to insert their own logo onto the cover just above the Joker’s shoulder.
